About Us

Troop 934 is located in Mansfield, Texas. It is our goal to develop Scouts with strong character and leadership skills while being physically fit, mentally awake and morally straight. The Troop has an active camping and advancement programs while being youth led. We strive to ensure that adult guidance is applied only as needed.

The mission of Scout Troop 934 is to develop the youth of our Troop into productive citizens of their community. Our Scouting program is both a stimulating and supportive program that enables our Scouts to grow in both mind and body through intellectual and physical activities. To be able to develop leadership skills in our Scouts, we provide training, role models, and opportunities to lead within the Troop. We accomplish our mission in partnership with our Sponsoring Institution, Community of Hope United Methodist Church, and through our BSA trained adult leaders, in support of The Mission of the Scouts of America. Rev. Beverly Connelly is our Charter Organization Executive Officer and Mrs. Mary Schlangenstein is our Chartered Organization Representative.

We are always looking for more Scouts to join the adventure that begins with Troop 934 for Girls. We meet on Monday evenings from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm At the Community of Hope United Methodist Church located at 1800 East Debbie Lane, Mansfield, TX 76063. Our troops are open to all who are 11 years old or have completed the fifth grade or earned the Arrow of Light Award and at least 10 years old, but are not yet 18 years old.
